When you link your Shopper’s Card to Trail Mix, Fred Meyer will make a donation based on a percentage of your spending to support our work of improving and maintaining the Juneau trail system.
All you need to do is create or sign into your Fred Meyer digital account, link your shopper’s card, and choose Trail Mix, Inc. as your selected organization for Community Rewards. Then shop like you always do and know that you’re also supporting our trails.

Pick.Click.Give. allows Alaskans to donate a portion of their Permanent Fund Dividend to causes they care about including Trail Mix. PFD applications are available from January 1 to March 31, though Alaskans may choose to add or adjust their pledges online through August 31.
To ensure our continued operation, Trail Mix maintains an endowment fund with the Juneau Community Foundation. If you appreciate the trails of Juneau, please consider leaving a legacy that will ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy our world class trail system. Those who are 73 or older can give to Trail Mix through their IRA’s required minimum distributions (RMDs) without having to pay income taxes on the money. Gifts of any value up to $100,000 are eligible to be used as Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) and must be received by Trail Mix by December 31 for your donation to qualify for the current year. You can leave a lasting impact by making a donation to Trail Mix through your will or living trust. These gifts are easy to set up, flexible, and may be changed with your life circumstances later on. Options include making a gift of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, stocks, real estate, and other items of value. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
