Trail Mix, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to developing and maintaining the Juneau Trail System. It is our mission to steward a safe and enjoyable trail system by bringing people and resources together for trail improvements and activities.
Trail Mix recognizes the stewardship of the Áak’w and T’aakū Kwáans on whose land we live, work, and recreate. We strive to honor Lingit place names in our work.
We employ 15 crew members who tirelessly improve Juneau's trails during our trail season. Click the tree icon to go to our employment page.
Our volunteers help us transform Juneau's trails. During our 2021 season, volunteers helped us improve sections of the Treadwell Ditch, Switzer Creek, Christopher Creek, and Lena Point. If you're interested in volunteering, click the tree icon to get more information.
